Jennifer Garza, ScD, will present on two interesting ergonomics topics: Sex differences in the prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms among custodians and An update on the use of sit-stand workstations and other interventions.
Dr. Jennifer Garza is the Ergonomist for UConn Health. She earned her ScD in Ergonomics and Environmental Health from Harvard School of Public Health, where she studied physical and psychosocial exposures of office workers. Recent research projects include an investigation of differences in musculoskeletal symptoms between male and female custodians, and the development of prediction models of physical exposures.
