Please join us for an exciting Tour of Plum Island!  

This event includes a 30–45-minute Ferry Ride to and from Plum Island, Presentation on Plum Island, Local Section Updates, & Bus Tour of the Island. 

Cost: $10 - Includes Ferry Ride, Bus Tour & Lunch (sandwiches & wraps, chips, soda, and dessert). 

Itinerary: 

• 12:15 pm - Ferry leaves Harbor One Marina - Saybrook Point
• 12:45-1:00 pm - Arrive at Plum Island
• 1:00 pm - 1:20 pm - Sign-in & Welcome
• 1:20 pm – 2:00 pm – Presentation on Plum Island (Ellen Clas, CIH, CSP – ASRC Occupational Health & Safety Manager & Gary Mandelburg, CEM, Department of Homeland Security – ESOH Manager) – with Lunch served.
• 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Local section update, upcoming events, etc.
• 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Bus Tour of Plum Island
• 4:15 pm - Ferry departs Plum Island 

Note: To receive clearance from DHS Federal Security to attend this event, individuals attending this event will need to provide their Country of Citizenship and Country of Origin. 

Must register by March 14, 2024 to allow time for clearance.  Limited capacity!
